June 26, 2017 - Opened 30 minutes before pairing with Jamaican jerk-seasoned salmon skewers. A brown-tinted light ruby in the glass, the wonderfully deep nose beckons with cherry, dark cherry, RC Cola and a hint of forest floor. Despite the light color, medium+ intensity and concentration, very elegant (silky) with still ample acidity (even if it is on its downhill slope). Outstanding!

August 20, 2016 - Briefly opened and re-stopped with the glass stopper 24 hours before pairing with grilled, oven-finished Atlantic salmon with tomato vinaigrette. A medium ruby in the glass, with slight bricking to the edges. The nice nose features both bing and dark cherries, slightly candied, with cola, baking spice and a touch of forest floor. Very good intensity and concentration for its type and vintage, with tannins mostly resolved. Either at peak now or slightly past; will intend to drink the remaining bottle yet this year. Another nice showing from Sineann!

June 24, 2016 - A bunch of wines with friends (Pine Lake Trout Club): Glass cork. Ruby in color. The nose is nice with cherries, some dark cherries, slight root beer and a hint of funk. On the palate, this is still young. A bit bigger than most wines in the vintage which I think is a good thing. Lots of cherries and dark cherries. Enough acidity to carry the fruit. Long finish. Very pretty.

April 16, 2012 - Willamette Valley - Tasted at winery: The 2007 vintage has definitely come into its own this past year. This wine is just another example of how well that vintage has aged for some of the wines. This wine has layered flavors of dark berries, cherries, earth and smoke. Well balanced with resolved tannins. Find some. Drink it!

January 6, 2011 - Notes from day 1, PNP, glass left out for an hour or so.
Dark red to light purple in color.
Nose of black fruits, cherry, a little earth, mushroom that was nice.
Palate of both black and red cherry, a little earth, mushroom, and spice.
The finish is above average in length, decent balance to this wine and some tannin toward the back.
Always my favorite bottling of Peter's.
    Drink or Hold. 50+5+11+16+7

August 12, 2010 - The Schindler Vy like the Resonance Vy yields a medium bodied very tightly structured Pinot but today it is lacking in ripeness and generosity. Yes, today too tight and too lean but hopefully it will improve with more bottle aging.

August 20, 2009 - Still young, but showing its character after decanting (it's young). Funky, interesting, flavorful without being overbearing. A lot of saddle leather and baking spices over typical OR pinot sour cherries.

July 6, 2009 - Took to a 4th of July BBQ. No formal notes. Red in color. Nose of cherry, blackberry, some floral, and a little earth. On the palate sour cherry, blackberry, mushrooms, earth, and a little spice. Average finish in length. Showed really well over the course of 4 hours, and by far the best of the 07's from Peter IMO. Hold or Drink. 50+5+12+16+6

June 15, 2009 - This has some potential. It's a very French understated style and actually has some nice sweet fruit to it. The nose has some very nice underlying earth and minerality to it but it's subtle. Not hitting my sweet spot especially at this price. I need more expression. I would pick a Domaine Drouhin pinot over this.
