March 26, 2017 - Sunday lunch with the Wine-Ark boys (Frank's place in Matraville): Pronounced aromas of rose, lychee, honey, sweet spice and almost leathery touches. Fat, round, cream, honey…plenty of breadth and glycerol. Medium plus length. Very good. With time this wine blossoms. This is incredible. A great wine. Superb.

February 26, 2014 - Mellow flavours on nose. Intense spicy, floral, super concentrated sweet baked apple palate.

February 8, 2013 - Lychee, peach, vanilla and some petrol aromas. Good power to the palate, really pulling through well on the finish. Very good length. A touch above the other bottle I had recently.

December 30, 2012 - Powerful flavour of orange blossom, backed by lychee and tamarind. A nice wine, but this bottle is a little broader and flabbier than my last bottle, possibly due to an inferior cork (soft, discoloured, fell into the bottle). Acid is still present, but it doesn't provide structure; there's no spicy 'zing' to it.

December 25, 2012 - Vanilla and honey with some spice and peaches. Nice richness on the palate with a splash of residual sweetness. Decent acidity and nice length. Drink over the shorter term.

September 8, 2012 - Intensely sweet and floral. Flavours of lychee and orange dominate, but there are notes of saffron, tamarind and turmeric. Lusciously sweet mouthfeel, with a spicy, tingly acidic finish. At 17 years old, it's still drinking like a young Gewurztraminer, so there's no telling how long it could last.
