  December 25, 2013 - The nose offers some vanilla and bright red berries. The palate has some baking spices, ripe raspberries, some cherries and a little oak. Bright and clean. This used to be candied, no longer. Enjoyable though not great.

  If you like your girls in leather not lace.
  In other words, the little Gigglepot on the label has grown up and is big and in your face. After several hours, softened up nicely, fine spice, soft tannin, enough fruit to identify it. Dug this out while doing some cellar work, the rest will go in to mellow for a few years
