September 21, 2023 - 91 pts. Wow what a surprise! 1977 not a great vintage in Bordeaux but this 46 year old guy was stunning and still full of energy. 91pts. Lots of prune dry prune fig balsamic notes and hints of spices. Medium bodied with present tannins. Very good lengt. Not at all tired! Big surprise

June 12, 2023 - Medium garnet in colour. Medium nose intensity with notes of mostly secondary and tertiary notes. Oak, charr wood, sandal wood, cedar, spices, toast, medicinal. Medium- tannin and medium- acidity. Did not decant and will not improve with ageing. It’s in declining, unless with good storage condition. Drink up.

    January 12, 2023 - WIML90

    Tasted non blind.

Garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of herbs du Provence, rose petals, talc and mixed berries. Flavors of tart red berries, raspberries and boysenberries. Tart acidity, resolved tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now.

    January 4, 2023 - WIML90?

    Tasted non blind.

Garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking throughout. Nose of herbs du Provence, rose petals, talc and berries. Flavor of tart red berries, raspberries and boysenberries. Tart acidity, resolved tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now. Let's call it a WIML90? maybe? Good showing for the 1977 vintage.

October 8, 2022 - Low shoulder fill so the oxidation and overall sherry-like nature was not unexpected. So, no Mouton experience but rather a cool taste of “sherry” and now it can add some pedigree to future dishes…
