June 2, 2019 - A stellar wine. It benefited from an hour of decanting. In the decanter it had a surprisingly strong nose of raspberry. In the glass it was more structured and a hint of pepper. Really long finish. It was well balanced.

November 11, 2016 - Nice wine, but suffered in comparison to it's competition. Cassis, smoke, light red fruits. Really good balance overall, tannins are well integrated now, I'd drink up.

August 14, 2016 - this was purchased off the list at Flea St. Cafe after finishing the KILLER '78 Robt Mondavi Reserve we brought to dinner, so this had an uphill battle, nonetheless really really good -- and interesting it seemed an awful lot like the '78 bottle, this had good depth but was ver refined and elegant, mellow with a little less structure than I might have expected for a ten year old cab, good dark red / cassis fruit and a hint of spice... fine drink for sure but I think peak has occurred and I would drink these in the next year or two

April 27, 2015 - I concur with Cab Blend's review. I too had this wine at the annual MacArthur Beverages California Tasting. It was a very balanced wine, with a core or red and black fruits and some complex nuances of earth that are consistent with a high quality well aged Cabernet. It reminded me of a good left bank Bordeaux from Pauillac.

April 18, 2015 - California Tasting (Barrel Tasting and an slight older): Cassis fruit. Tannins 6.5. A fruity pure cab
