April 4, 2022 - Slow ox’d for about 3-4 hours. Started out a little tart and nervous with prominent pomegranate notes. Then after an hour or so, the wine opened up and settled down and show black cherry and boysenberry. Not terribly complex, even after 15 years. Serviceable.

October 2, 2018 - Previous notes of this wine in this forum consistent with my impression. A revelation. Inviting nose. Medium full body for a Pinot. Fruit is forward and bright without significant tannins. Smooth as can be from initial nose to swallowing. This would drink well with or without food. I don't perceive any negative effect from being bottled as a screw cap.

May 4, 2015 - Still very vibrant with cherry fruit and cola. My last bottle.

March 29, 2015 - Powerful, deep, and smooth pinot. Still drinking very well. A pleasant surprise.

December 10, 2014 - Darker garnet but very lively with juicy acidity. A little funk on the nose to start but blew off with some air. Dark cherry and pomegranate with a nice spicey component. Very impressed with this little vineyard in the hills between Pismo and Santa Maria.
