September 14, 2013 - A strong floral and fruit nose. Nicely balanced and probably at it's peak. An old world wine with plenty of dark fruit, mushroom, and tannins.

April 14, 2011 - 80% Grenache from 40 year old vines and 20% Syrah from younger vines. A deep ruby color with purple around the edges. Lilac on the nose and long legs in the glass. Cardamon, fennel, white pepper and dark fruit flavors are surrounded by subtle tannins. A very, very long finish. Wonderful everyday wine.

February 2, 2011 - Terrific flowery syrah nose can be smelled from several feet away. Lush spicy plum, anise, pepper and lavender hit the palate. Long lasting tannins and leather appear later. Very long finish. Drinking well know and should have the depth to several more years.

April 17, 2009 - Drinking now, but with the depth to last a few more years. A good example of a village rhone. Purple red colour with a meaty nose and good length.
