April 29, 2010 - A nice, light, balanced Pinot Noir
March 3, 2010 - Color of red plums in the glass, bright cherry fruit, medium-bodied and tart. There is a smokey tang to this wine that promised more complexity and maturity than was there two hours after it was opened -- or three hours or four. Too acidic and tart to balance well with the fruit, this wine was best when drunk with food -- especially the mushrooms sauteed in butter, white wine and cream.
