November 26, 2015 - Despite advice from the folks at the winery when we visited in August 2014 to drink it right away, we held it until Thanksgiving 2015. I don't think it lost a thing. Of course, it helped that it was a 1.5L bottle. A perfect example of what a skilled winemaker can do with Zinfandel grapes from the Hayne Vineyard, and why Zinfandel is my favorite.

April 5, 2009 - Still drinking very nicely--no real signs of flattening out. Very soft and rich, although enough tannins and acidity to keep good structure. Dominated by dark fruits like plum and blackberry, combined with asian spice and hints of smoke. Everyone enjoyed this.
