July 3, 1993 - Caymus Vintage Tasting (Hi-Time Wine Cellars, Costa Mesa, Ca.): Nice, rich, angular fruit on the nose, good, deep, brilliant red color in the glass, big, rich, bold, briary fruit, slight amount of soft tannins on the finish.

November 24, 1990 - Tasting of 11 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignons. Showed a cherry red color in the glass, pleasant cabernet nose, followed by a pleasant taste of concentrated sweet fruit, long finish with both fruit and acid that suggests 4 more years is needed. Some described this wine as angular fruit. My #7 and Group #10.
