October 16, 2020 - This bottle was phenomenal. Incredibly aromatic (rose petals, lychee, honey) and great balance and length. Very savory. Wow! I would equate this wine to a German auslese in terms of sweetness.

July 18, 2020 - Beautifully mature nose displaying ripe yellow fruit, apricot, yellow cherry, mandarin orange, a hint lychee, sweet and spicy spices, and steely mineral. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of sweet yellow fruit, dense and deeply toned, medium acidity, steely mineral and a medium long sweet yellow fruit driven finish with lychee and sweet spices at the end. There is bitterness that I typically find in ZH Gewurztraminer. It is drinking nicely.

    August 9, 2014 - Unfortunately corked.

August 9, 2014 - Welcoming Chicago winos - Part Deux (BLT Steak - Washington D.C. - High Octane Wines): My contribution. Slightly corked/off.

November 29, 2013 - Beautiful gold color. Lighter nose than I expected, perhaps because of the age, mostly quince, grapefruit and spice. Surprisingly dry, medium body with a 40 second finish. Beautiful wine, but entering a slow decline I think.
