October 22, 2008 - Interesting wine right off the bat. Strawberry scent with some burnt wood chips... Although lite, flavors come in distinct and separate waves. After an hour to an hour of decanting, the flavors combine for a very good, very nice, easy drinking wine. Fruity, strawberries for sure, not sweet per se, but a little "spritzy". Very little on the palate, but what a great wine to drink with fish or spicy dishes! Great every day, any time red and very reasonable for the price. Reminds me of a lite Pinot Noir that has that old world earthy after taste.
