January 3, 2021 - What a treat. A very linear experience (not in a bad way)...this wine is a gorgeous Brunello that has stood the test of time. Medium bodied, from the getgo this hits you with leather tobacco forest floor. The wine is lean and although the fruit is gone, it’s absolutely singing. Very different experience from a lovely 1998 Cerbaiona I had a few weeks ago, both gorgeous nonetheless and a testament to the producers who made them. Perfect pairing with Osso Bucco and a 2 hour decant.
