October 13, 2015 - Solid effort. Well balanced and drinking well now. Doubt it will improve further. Nice aromas and flavors of dark fruit.

July 8, 2015 - Drinking well, I wouldn't hold to this one much longer.

May 25, 2014 - Amazing what a few years can do-- much better than my previous bottle. From last night: popped and poured, silky smooth mouthfeel and surprisingly lighter weight (not pinot light, but noticeably so). Great fruitiness and balance (only a peek of alcohol this time), just put a smile on my face.

September 10, 2013 - PnP. Blackberry and pepper on the nose, carrying through to the palate with a touches of minerality and smoked meat. Finish had a touch of unexpected heat, but I suspect this is due to it being served slightly warmer than ideal. Overall, showing beautifully with plenty of life left.

August 20, 2012 - Soooo good! Lots of cracked pepper, blackberry, and a touch of oak. Love this wine, and sad this is my last bottle. Thanks Trey!

(Sleight of Hand Cellars ‘Levitation’ Syrah Columbia Valley) Stains the glass with a brilliant purple hue. Nose shows wild blueberries, mushroom, and forest floor aromas. The palate is seamlessly stitched together with abundant berry and umami flavors accented by exceptionally well balanced oak. The finish goes on as long as you care to count. 100% Syrah. Les Collines, Lewis, and Portteus vineyards. 14.9% alcohol. 300 cases produced.
