  May 3, 2015 - For a wine that supposedly should have been consumed a year ago, this was a real beauty. The tannins have all resolved nicely, and the fruiut is surprisingly fresh.

  February 2, 2011 - Silky tanins, and lots of them. Acidity is mild but helps blence the wine. Dark fruit. not to hot.

  July 2, 2009 - Initial nose was pure heat with some dark berries sprinkled on top (what do you expect with a 15.3% wine).
  Decanted for an hour and tasted. Most of the heat has blown off, but it was still very evident. Concentrated dark fruit with a bit too much oak for me. Tannins are moderate on the tail end.
  This wine never really evolved throughout the evening and fell flat overall. It is not a bad wine, by any means, but there are much better QPR's out there in my opinion. Will not seek out in the future.
