  December 17, 2016 - Still a bit tannic while loosing some of it's fruit. Not yet oxidized but moving toward prune and raisin. Decent finish. No significant sediment thrown.

  December 25, 2014 - Required decanting. Tart at first but opened up to cocoa notes after an hour. Paired well with roasted meat.

  January 3, 2012 - Strange aroma of rubber when first opened but blew off after about an hour in the decanter. Opened up nicely after 2 - 3 hours in the decanter. Then a very nice aroma of black cherry and vanilla. Nice rich black cherry flavor with mocha and vanilla and smooth mellow tannin.
