August 9, 2018 - In a great place at the moment, drank so well. All the great Barolo characteristics and at perfect ripeness. Loved it!

May 29, 2017 - Still a powerhouse, richly tannic but with great depth and drive in the mouth. There's a boatload of cherry fruit, all wrapped in a tarry robe. 4 hour double decant barely moved this along. I would suggest at least 8 hours, but better yet give it another 6-8 years before popping another one. This is not the more elegant and refined Cannubi that Burlotto currently produces but should prove to be quite stunning in its own right .

May 17, 2007 - Austere at first, but after 20 minutes, a nice nose, with a bit of spice and cedar. A bit sour and tart, with a clipped finish. I'm not sure this will get any better with more age, but it might be worth a try. Better with food (homemade meatballs, in our case).
