July 25, 2023 - High alcohol Grenache with out balance. I enjoyed this wine by blending 50/50 with Fanta lemon soda and two slices of a Valencia orange. Creating a Tinto de Verano. Its what the spaniards do with pedestrian Grenache.

April 15, 2023 - Super aromatic, still vibrant acidity, classic grenache fruit - delicious.

October 2, 2022 - Delicious berry, mineral, and smoke aromas and flavors on the palate with wonderful complexity and texture culminating in a moderate finish. Still drinking beautifully and as youthful as the bottle 6 years ago!

September 20, 2020 - There's a brightness and lightness to the bouquet happening here. Beyond that it goes something like this: Raspberry coulis made with a salty brine and olive tapenade had a baby. Add BBQ beef, some crème de cassis and gypsum/chalkiness for good measure (tannins speaking up). Not as floral as last time. Palate bites back though so watch out, some sharp acidity action. That I can handle, it’s the metallic-like tang that does me wrong. Not huge but present. Plugged cork back in and will finish the bottle tomorrow

May 31, 2020 - Rerating from 5/25. I let this have ~4 hours of air and it greatly benefited from it. The funk blew off, as did the alcohol. What was left was nicely textured and weighted. It had the house style, but dialed down a bit from the Syrahs.

(Cayuse Vineyards God Only Knows Grenache Armada Vineyard Bottle Sample Walla Walla Valley) Nose marked by floral notes along with lots and lots of mineral aromas and streaky fruit. Richly textured across the palate with flavors of bloody roast beef and umami. 100% Grenache. 15.2% alcohol. To be released in 2010.
