  October 28, 2020 - 15 years old and it could last longer. Makes me remember what great wines I've had over the years from Artesa. This one has a definite flavor of concentrated red raspberries. Still good structure which smoothed out after opening. Didn't pick up any cedar or sweetness mentioned in other reviews. I would describe it as "simply delicious". Great with food but also great by itself for sipping. Yum!

  December 26, 2011 - A very nice merlot ... with dark fruit (plums) on the nose and palate. There's some cedar, bell pepper and some spice there, too. Nice balance ... I'm just sad that that's my last bottle of '05.

  July 29, 2011 - After having the V. Satuii Henry Ranch merlot we had the Artesa. The Artesa also was very good with the garlic and rosemary grilled pork tenderloin. This wine adds that tinge of cedar to the palate. A very nice wine!

  April 3, 2011 - Pours dark with dark fruit on the nose and palate. There's great balance in this wine and it went well with the crock pot pork loins smothered in blackberry jam and red wine.
