December 31, 2019 - 12 year vertical of first 12 vintages that I brought from my cellar. Tasted with Rollin, Corby, my wife, my cousin and spouse, several wine writers and a food blogger invited by Rollin and Corby.

November 28, 2016 - Had a tasting of 3-2006 Pinot Noirs on Thanksgiving Day including Clos Pepe Estate and Claude Dugat Gevry-Chambertin. The ROCO in comparison was youthful, wonderful red ripe fruits with a hint of toast all in a light silky package! Blew the other two out of the water. Everyones favorite. Great Pinot drinking extremely well right now.

December 7, 2013 - My 2013 SSanta wine! PnP -750ml; translucent ruby red color; Nose of soft fruits, mostly cherry, with spices; flavors pf light and moderately bright cherry, clove, kitchen spices (gingerbreadish), and orange peel finish; smooth texture, fine tannins, decent acidity, a bit hot at first but mellowed out as we drank; Decent Finish of lingering spices and orange peel. Very nice while we put up our Christmas Tree! Thanks SSanta!

February 14, 2013 - Right in the nick of time, this wine will probably only last one more year. Color is Ruby. Nose of Vanilla, Oak,cherries, strawberries.Light Texture with Cherries, a little oak and a little candied. Nice long finish with not much acidity. Good with or without food.

February 23, 2012 - My second bottle. Drank my last bottle with toke_man and would have to agree...something was just not here.

Decanted for 30 minutes this time around and didn't mix with other wines. I have to say this time around I'm impressed. More inline with a California Pinot. Black cherry, vanilla, smoke, and sweet spices on the nose.

Palate delivered a nice cherry blush, the smallest hint of plum, and earth notes I can't quite put a finger on. Almost a sweet tobacco, but not. Crisp acids and decent body lend a firm and bold mouth feel. Not precisely smooth, not quite velvety, just...invigorating.
