August 7, 2018 - Cork in poor shape and was extracted in pieces but without crumbling into the wine. Dark red to umber hue. Mature tasting but still enjoyable--a long-living Pinot. Dark fruit flavors and tea-like tannins. Probably better before 2010.

November 11, 2007 - Tasted double blind. Ruby color with notes of cherry and allspice. Medium bodied, quite elegant really, with cherry and clove tones and nice acidity. Identified this one correctly...a rare event.
