February 5, 2022 - Heavy leather, dark berries, smoke and tobacco. Needs to decant for at least an hour to really open up.

October 10, 2021 - Had this in a tasting of Tuscan wine from 1967-2020. Citrus and earth on the nose. Classic tuscan dry and berries in the glass.

October 7, 2012 - Very dark robe. Pepper and cherry. Texture is light with a little bit of a thicker finish. Stronger hints in the smell are those of pepper and alcohol but the alcohol isn't as present in the taste which is in my opinion a good thing! Overall a good wine maybe not super special but good and satisfying.

November 26, 2011 - Still acidic and tannic, without as much noticeable fruit, this wine has not aged as well as hoped. However, the wine was still pleasant. Drink now.

July 26, 2011 - Undeniable Tuscan/ Sangiovese character. Funky musky nose coming out of the bottle but quickly opened up giving an air of ripe fruits, rusty aroma (in a good way). Drinking beautifully at it's peak, medium to full body and displaying slight browning at the edges. Silky tannins and a smooth finish. Deserves a much better score than the average of 82+
