June 12, 2012 - Awkward and unpleasant medicinal finish on first opening. Settles out a bit with warming and some air. Quite rich, oily, viscous, buttery. I find it pretty interesting, although the wife never loves it.

October 29, 2011 - Buttery oaky, a bit too much

June 26, 2011 - Pear, cotton candy, saline, honey, very dry, rich, beautiful viscosity, savory roundness on the finish, perfect array of acidity, sweetness, and bitterness on the finish. A sort of a mentholated quality on the smell as it warms up - really came into its own once it had opened up and warmed up a bit.

May 22, 2010 - Oily, apply, kinda complicated. E says apple dominates, J found it to be secondary. Also some ocean brine. A correct textbook Sav.
