March 25, 2010 - The wine has retained its deep dark color, and density. It is still muscular, thanks to the mourvedre, smooth, and spicy. Four hours after opening the fruit and tannins become more integrated, adding deep bitter chocolate to the fruit in the mid-palate. This is aging fairly well.

October 31, 2008 - 90 Rating. Opened on Halloween Night's Three Southern Rhones Wine Tasting. Grenache 60/Mourvedre 40. Drunk over aseveral nights and finished 11/2. Deep purpley black going to garnet at the rim, cherry fruit on the nose, mouth-puckering tannins that begin to smooth out after the first hour...a monster dose of crushed purple fruit and spice. Will try this again in 2 years.
