Community Tasting Notes 10

February 14, 2018 - Crisp, fresh taste. Drank with King Crab, and the wine held its own over the strong crab and butter. The color was darker than I expected, but the wine was fresh and good.

January 24, 2013 - My 'go-to' wine in Hong Kong, albeit from more recent vintages. This from a bar in Bangkok - still fresh with light, apricot nose and long palate.

September 17, 2011 - North Shore Getaway; 9/15/2011-9/17/2011 (North Shore, MN): Color is pale gold. Nose shows white peach, apples, pear, citrus. The palate is mostly citrus, some peach, zesty acid, light body, thin on the mid palate, a little bitterness on the finish. Above average PG, but not a cheapy either.

July 10, 2011 - Salone di Grandi Vini Bianchi (Mirabelle Restaurant Austin, Texas): This was noted to be quite a complex and well balanced wine, sweet ripe citrus fruit notes, apple and pear, a touch of dried peach and apricot and a notable nuttiness: sweet raw peanuts, peanut shells, great minerality – stones and graphite

May 1, 2010 - A nice medium body with honey on both the nose and palate. A little bit of straw as well. Not very complex with a medium finish. We had this with a cheese board of Italian cheeses and warm honey. The honey notes in the wine went very well with the dipping honey!
