August 3, 2012 - Pretty robust Pinot relative to other RRV PNs I've had. Unfortunately, I didn't follow my earlier note and let it breathe for a hour or two before drinking.

September 2, 2010 - Benefited from airing more than I'd expect for a pinot.

August 2, 2009 - Lush enough, a little hot, showing typical california fruit for a pinot. Not very complex or layered. Decent mouth feel.

July 17, 2009 - This was a svelte, sensual and very aromatic wine. Lots of fruit wrapped around a medium-bodied mouth-feel with silky smooth tannins. Very impressive.

April 2, 2009 - NSMFOW April '09--Promising CA Wineries (The Grapevine, Salem, MA): This wine was indistinguishable as a Pinot Noir--even non-blinded. Why drink Pinot Noir at all if you enjoy something so far removed? I gave it an 83 because it works reasonably well as a Syrah.
