February 3, 2012 - Smoke and a touch of brambly berries mixed with alcohol on the nose. Smooth, balanced, not overly jammy or plummy (even though this clocks in at 14.9%!), modest finish that is smooth. Lacks a certain something (a presence, a feeling, a statement) that is keeping it from the next level but otherwise all in all a nice glass of Zin!

January 5, 2011 - pleasant zin. nice fruit, reasonable backbone without the hot nature of a lot of zins.

September 9, 2010 - A bit weedy but OK. Notes of dill. Good medium-bodied zin for sipping.
