March 1, 2021 - Mondavi/ Rothschild connection tasting all 2006 vintage. Opus One was the wine of the evening and a few shed a tear it was that good. Ageing gracefully with silky tannins, complex aromas and a long finish. TS98.
Mondavi Reserve was all over the place. It changed several times over the evening. Overall a solid performance but it may not age as i had hoped TS93. Chateau Clerc Milon has earthy tones, understated as compared to the previous 2. Looks like it has another decade or more TS93. Almaviva was more brick colored than the others however it did taste fresh and lively. Perhaps the surprise wine of the evening. TS94

September 27, 2019 - Similar to the Paul Hobbs Napa Cabernet in style and profile only more expensive (Baron Philippe de Rothschild influence?). Chocolate, earth, ripe fruit, lush mouthfeel, long smooth finish.

September 21, 2019 - Aging well. A consistent wine between bottles and vintages. Nice fruit, good complexity and goes very well with red meats. Enjoyable.

August 11, 2019 - Kept getting better over 3-4 hours in the decanter.
    Chocolate tobacco
