July 25, 2009 - Nose: Pepper, some wood, and an odd candy cinnamin or something, medicinal almost

on the palate, there is some fruit, kinda sour cranberry, dry, nice mouthfeel, hot. Actually much better than the nose suggested, but not a winner by any means. There's much better at this price, but I'l drink this with my pizza.

February 17, 2009 - Nose: Hot!!! Cranberry, cough syrup, faintly cinnamon candy
Taste: Gack! Serious cough syrup and intensely sour/unripe grape.

August 22, 2008 - this was a very strong wine for 10 bucks. dry fruit, like a nero d’avola.
