December 22, 2023 - Surprisingly very good, should actually have been drinking those many years back. Forgotten bottles.

July 13, 2016 - Fine colour, a little evolved, very vibrant with a garnet tinge. Big nose with some complexity, loads of plums and black cherries, cedar, coffee, chocolate. The palate is round, fleshy, close to fully bodied, with fine grained tannins holding on, and a nice mix of dark fruits and perfectly integrated oak. Medium finish. Very round with just a slight and enjoyable "sweetness". I think this wine is drinking at peak right now, and will continue to do for another couple of years. Excellent with entrecote.

September 8, 2015 - The wine is clear with a medium intensity, garnet color. Distinct legs.

The nose is clean and fully developed with a medium aroma intensity. Aromas of dried cherry, plum, prune, raisin, wet soil, violet, oak, cold coffee, chocolate, leather and tobacco.

Dry on the palate with a medium acidity, medium(+) body, medium alcohol and medium(+), rugged, tannins. The flavor intensity is medium with flavors of dried black fruit, raisin, dried violets, oak, chocolate, tobacco and leather. The finish is medium and very drying and woody.

Mature and rather intriguing on the nose but the palate doesn't add up at all. The fruit is almost completely dried out which makes the wine flat and woody. Should've been drunk a couple of years back.

August 3, 2014 - A very nice Bordeaux at this point. Fruit driven but with lots of typical Bdx markers. Not too oaky which suites me just fine. At 15 euros back in 2008 this has develped into great value for money.

December 26, 2012 - Vibrant, intense crimson colour. Grew with air time and actually blossomed into something beautiful, balanced, clearly showing its origin even though it remains a little "generic" and lacks a true personality. Red and dark berries on the nose, elegant notes of cedar. With air the nose showed more depth and some sweetness. Very well balanced palate supported by fine grained tannins and an uplifting acidity. Medium finish. Overall this gave a lot of pleasure and is an excellent wine. Perfect with lamb. I guess it has peaked and will continue to give pleasure for a couple of more years.
