December 2, 2014 - Medium to full body, dark garnet red color, intensively aromatic, ripe forest fruits, black pepper, spices and cedar wood aroma, black currant, pepper, spices and mineral notes on the palate, juicy on extra-long finish, deep structure, bold and rich, very juicy, complex and balanced, good acidity, sweet and ripe tannins. Well with white fungus soup. Serve to 18º - 22º. Open one hour in advance. Drink now and next four years.

January 3, 2013 - Drunk during dinner, after a Flam C.S. Reserve 2006. Excellent. Complex and elegant. Red fruits, dust, earthy aromas. Good harmony, medium bodied, good balance between all components.

July 31, 2012 - Very powerfull, plum, marmelade, full power on the second day as well. A little bit lack of complexity. No second flavours. Interesting to see how this wine devellops with 2-3 years on the bottle.

May 22, 2012 - one of the better wines I have tasted. Young and modern bodega with a BIG future, a must have.
the wine opens up very good after 2-3 hours in a decanter (you have to let it breath!) and then you get the typical RdD warmth, power, depth, tons of plums, cherry and marmelade (but in a positive way)
a vibrant wine that comes in waves, perfectly integrated oak and structure.I rated it 94 points although 2006 was not the best vintage.
(go for the 2004 with 94PP if you can get it or the 2005 with 93PP)
I'm waiting for the 2009 vintage to come

    P.S.
    @Cermellec
you shouldn't rate a wine that bad only because you seem to be disappointed after having drunk the better vintages ('04, '05)
    this isn't professional
    my 2 cents

April 25, 2012 - Business lunch at Las Rejas Restaurant, Albacete. Worth a visit. Don´t miss those empty bottles at the bar. What a collection!
Quintassential Ribera? Well, it is not exactly that but a good representation of what you have in mind when thinking about Ribera: Dark colour, full aromatic nose, oaky yet succulent, smoothie aftertaste and lacking personality. Some say lacking terroir expression. Textbook Ribera?
Starting that meal with a Manzanilla Solear and pairing a baked octopussy,Murcia style, more seafood and grilled angler fish for the main course.

March 31, 2012 - After decanting the wine opens and the richness of ripe red fruits are overwhelming. Full bodied, with a nice long taste. The wine has still enough tannins and it will probably be even better within 2 years

November 13, 2011 - Good but not exceptional. Maybe it wasn't open long enough for drinking, but it is not as full bodied as the 2004 and 2005 ones.
