August 17, 2023 - Very big wine. Deep dark color. Aroma of prunes and ripe fruits. Concentrated delicious flavor that is ideal with red meat. Tannins are present, yet mellow. Some opportunity for additional aging, but it is not necessary.

February 24, 2022 - J$ brought to the WWS OTB nite last nite. This wine has aged well. I've had it before and notes still ring true. Nose of black fruit and strong leather aromas. There's some black currant fruit, pepper, wood and spice. Earthy, leather, tobacco and forest floor notes. Nice surprise to see how well this wine has held up. Great producer!
