August 17, 2019 - Meursault Perrieres blind tasting 1988-2011: This wine also had aromas of bruised apples, oxidative. It was not bad but no where near the stellar 2011 we had earlier. Rating withheld.

August 9, 2019 - Somewhat mute upon first opening. With time, it comes to focus. Tasting older than the 03 Puligny served along it. Mostly buttery oak and on a downhill trajectory.

July 29, 2015 - very subtle flavors and reclusive aromas. Not typical of a nutty-accented meursault. Simple pear and apple flavors, crisp acidity and medium bodied. It may open with more age, but so far not impressed.

August 14, 2014 - Rich, buttery, toasty and nutty with all sort of complexity without crossing the border and alcohol held in check. Drinking beautifully now.

December 31, 2012 - This wine appears to have shut down over the last year . Still enjoyable, bu not the same as a year ago.. More wood on the nose than fruit although more fruit showed when wine warmed up. Almonds, pears and mineral complexity. The palate is intense and balanced. Long finish. I would give it a year or two to see what develops.
