December 9, 2023 - We had our last bottle ten years ago and this little beauty is still going strong. It's mellowed a touch but still fresh as a daisy. No toasty elements here, it's all mouthfilling goodness. Fresh acid holds it all together. Not amazingly complex but still good for another 10 years I reckon.

November 28, 2020 - Museum release purchased in January from the winery.

Opened and decanted for an hour or so before consumption.

Tasted blind, this was immediately identified as an Australian Semillon. Has now got a lovely petrol and nutty elements coming though on the nose, but in the mouth this is all still textbook Aussie semillon. A load of acidity keeping this wine honest, and it's under screwcap so is moving slower than most glaciers at the moment. Anybody lucky enough to have any of this will enjoy it for years.

May 24, 2014 - This is heading towards you beaut ripper territory. Still fresh and youthful but heading towards developing a little fatness. Nice now but this is going to be great.

March 29, 2012 - Lemon in appearance with an evolved ripe character offering chamomile, peach, pear together with presence of toast, quince and hints of petrol. Elegant on palate with balancing acidity, perhaps some residual sugars and medium + length. Doesn't pass unnoticed.

March 23, 2011 - Clear deep lemon green. Clean nose of medium - intensity that is still developing firstly showing underripe fruit that later opens out to tropical fruit, a hint of nuts, beeswax and minerality. Dry medium + body, acidity, length & flavour intensity. More tropical fruit on the palate than the nose suggests.
