July 13, 2011 - Light gold colour. Lush on the nose with acacia, violets, apricots and feijoa. Palate has good mouth feel, with apricots and white peach. Finish has a little bit of heat indicating maybe slightly too much alcohol or and over-ripe vintage.

Over all a marvelous example of the variety and one I would recommend to someone who hasn't tried Viognier. Would be interesting to explore at the 8-10 year range and see how it's developed/if it can handle serious age.

November 28, 2010 - A bit overly alcoholic, but had the expected viognier light-syrupy sweetness.

October 12, 2010 - Consumed over two days. Nose of grapefruit and lemon peel. Sweet then tart, finishing a bit awkwardly but smooth most of the way through. I am getting a lot of melon flavors that again are both sweet and tart.
Overall easy to drink, and although I am drinking this wine without food, it seems like a good wine to pair with chicken marsala (?).

(Edit: adjusted the score down 2 points to 86 because my wife and I felt no desire to finish the second half of the bottle. Although the wine is tasty, drinking it on it's own reveals too much of the tartness and the mediocre aftertaste that we just lost interest)
