January 14, 2022 - This might have been held too long. Definitely lost its fruit. Although, strong tobacco notes.
January 2, 2017 - On initial pnp, wash harsh. Opened up, moderate berry fruit nose, mild cedar, and some tannins, medium finish. Still drinking well, but I would suggest finishing up any bottles left.
December 3, 2016 - Still tasty, although perhaps on the going out side of the window.
February 14, 2016 - Valentines Day : Bring a Bottle you LOVE (Jason and Mariellen's): Drank a small glass at a tasting. On the nose and palate, dark chocolate, jammy blackbery pie and alcohol. On the palate, the alcohol is evident and grainy. Probably a couple years too old.
May 16, 2015 - Continues to be very impressive. Rich with a nice chocolate finish. Very good QPR
March 8, 2015 - Very tasty. Lush with chocolate and blackberry taste. Wonderful finish.
August 10, 2014 - - Garnet color - Nice but the 07 is fuller I would drink now. 45 min decant was about right
June 1, 2014 - Really drinking well. Dark fruits and very smooth. A real mouthful
