October 18, 2011 - This is in a good place right now. Tannins have subsided to a smooth finish and good fruit mid-palate.

May 20, 2011 - Not a bad entry, bits of dark berry. No middle and a grippy tannic end. Not sure if this will go anywhere better from here.

April 7, 2011 - Decanted for two hours. Very dard to the rim for a Merlot. Still not balanced flavor with the first glass. I agree with the earlier notes on it needing more time. Put back into the bottle and will try again tonight.

January 31, 2010 - Best bottle of the 3. Lush and smoothe ... drink over the next 1-2 years.

January 23, 2009 - Cedar with slight red cherry on the nose. Heavy tannins. Needs some more time.

November 30, 2008 - Very youthful but showing excellent potential. Needs some time to absorb all the oak but this wine is already showing a lush, chocolatey richness with a few hours of air. The tannins are still full and firm, so I would predict this wine needs at least 2-5 more years in the cellar.
