December 6, 2015 - Given the positive reviews of the Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator, I expected more. Reasonable, but nothing outstanding. As noted by some others, a little dry without much richness. I will see what tomorrow brings.
By the way, some people were complaining about Zachy's hyping this wine. I would not hold Zachy's accountable in this case. I would direct my ire more at the professionals. -

March 2, 2014 - Another Zachy's overpriced hype.Time has softened this a little but it completely lacks any promise of a fine sangiovese blend. Taut, wiry, showing a little dark cherry and smoke but overall dried and not pleasant. Tossed most of the bottle.
