More macerated cherries and even cherry Luden's on the palate with very little in the way of secondary flavors. There is still a bit of oak sticking out, but I assume it will integrate given the amount of fruit that is still showing. Very balanced with good acidity and smooth but grippy tannins. This seems like it will age on its fruit for at least another 5-10 years, but I'm not sure it will pick up any secondary and tertiary flavors.

  May 15, 2014 - I simply love this wine. It is very delicate at this stage and if you open one now, be ready to drink the entire bottle as it does not do well once opened (brakes down quickly). It is so velvety and smooth it's hard to not drink it too fast. Great varietal characteristics with an old world taste.

  February 28, 2014 - Truly amazing Pinot. Nice light fruits and soft tannins. Nice long finish.
