January 22, 2017 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune, plum, forest floor, oak, vanilla and tobacco. It tastes like prune, plum, forest floor, tobacco, barnyard and horsey. The body is medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

January 9, 2014 - Garnet colour. Very beautiful bouquet of earthy and woody flavours, barnyard, licorice, red cherries... Very good intensity. On the palate, the wine doesn't disappoint: it is silky smooth, packed with aromas of licorice and red fruits, showing excellent concentration and acidity, and a hint of vanilla on the lingering finish. Drinks as a gourmand wine. You just want to pour another glas. Awesome. Was a good match with roast chicken. Outstanding QPR (10€, purchased nearly 5 years ago).

December 19, 2013 - From a half bottle bought in a Supermercado, Tenerife. Popped and poured. Just amazing how nicely matured and delicious this showed to be, given its price and provenance. Maybe it has matured more rapidly in the store. The nose was just full of barnyard, leather and some red fruit. Medium bodied palate, tons of barnyard (horse shit!), tobacco and some bright red toned fruit backed up with firm, slightly dusty tannins and good acidity. Sooo delicious! I just love matured wines like this. Amazing QPR indeed.
