March 24, 2010 - Caramel, toasted oak, coconut on the nose. Evident, toasted oak on the palate, with rich butterscotch and ripe orchard fruits. This has some staying power on the palate, however, where the acidity keeps the wine in balance. A very good effort, even if it is heavy handed.
