May 4, 2022 - Past it’s prime, but still very nice. Fruit forward but tapers off quickly, a bit thin on the finish.
January 1, 2018 - 86: The bottom half of the cork distintegrated, which necessitated filtration and the resulting aeration; however, the wine did not appear to have been adversely affected. Fruit-forward with oaky overtones and an abbreviated finish. Modest tannins. Disappointing lack of identifiable Argentine terroir, but possibly more drinkable (more appealing to a wider audience) for it. Based on the cork situation, strongly suggest drinking now if you still have a bottle of 2007.
October 5, 2017 - Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium expressiveness, blueberry, cranberry, and prune fruit with saddle leather and bubblegum notes. Palate: Medium-full bodied, ripe dark red and blue fruit attack, acid driven mid-palate lift, where Asian spice and earthy notes join in, the back-end is dominated by Asian spice, earth, and slightly over-ripe ripe fruit which persist through a 30-45 second finish. My last of 4 bottles, the first 3 being consumed in the 2012-2014 time frame, would have to say this is currently in the back-half of it's drinking window showing a definite fading of the fruit versus previous visits, though the remaining tertiary flavors are still enjoyable for the moment.
March 3, 2016 - Nice licorice bound fruit. Very smooth at this point, some primary tannins left. Classy oak. Good balanced ripeness. Nice spice

June 5, 2015 - Looks good in the glass with a dark red colour. An appealing nose showing fruit and menthol along with a little spice. An interesting berry flavour dominated the palate. Nice.
January 18, 2015 - Good qpr.
October 16, 2014 - Popped 1 hour before first pour, consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, blueberry pie and plum with hints of leather and menthol. Palate: Medium full bodied, sweet dark fruit attack, just enough acidic back-bone to balance out the sweetness, great mid-palate density is joined by menthol and spice flavors, all of which join together and build in intensity thru the back-end. Finish: Medium-plus length sense of tasty spiced dark fruit and menthol. My third of four bottles, others being consumed in 2012 and 2013, and this is singing right now - very impressive.
October 12, 2014 - Big but balanced. Very tasty.
