    November 3, 2019 - Deep garnet in color;

    Fully developed, aromatically medium(+) intensity with tertiary aromas of bottle age [forest floor, mushroom, game, savoury] and fruit development [dried cranberry, dried strawberry], secondary aromas of oak [smoke, cloves, cinnamon, toast] and herbaceous primary aromas [tomato leaf, black tea, fennel].

    The wine is dry w a medium acidity, low tannin, medium(-) body, medium alcohol %, and medium finish. Flavors have a medium intensity with tertiary flavors of bottle age [roasted game, meaty, forest floor, earth] and fruit development [dried black cherry, prune], secondary flavors of oak [smoke, cloves, cinnamon, toast] and herbaceous primary flavors [tomato leaf, black tea, fennel].

    The wine is very good and should be drunk now; not suitable for further aging.

    In non robotic, WSET terms... this mature wine displays plenty of dried fruit, earthy/forest floor and savory herbs in the bouquet and on the palate. As noted by previous tasters, the wine is starting to lack some body causing the fruit to feel a bit tart in the mouth. At least my bottle was drinking well and had some elegant, nuanced life remaining. Drink now!

    Last of the 3 bottles from WB. Unfortunately, this bottle had the abundant acidity, but it had no body and tasted hollow. Was just Ok. Tasted over 3 days and was consistent throughout.

    EGH's note below is spot on. This is a lovely, vibrant Pinot drinking beautifully right now. Consistent over two evenings. Drink or hold - I don't see this falling off anytime soon.
