    December 11, 2019 - In a good spot. No interesting new notes due to age, but it has mellowed out nicely while still keeping the good tasty fruit.

    March 6, 2016 - Our 3rd and last bottle of this vintage seems to have peaked...soft tannins and berry notes were present at opening with more intense fruit after an hour. Eager to see how the last 1/3 of the bottle develops by tomorrow.

    July 11, 2015 - Drinking fine - tannins mellow, soft blackberry and cherry, briar from carignan still there - nose is strange initially, but ends with deep violet berry. enjoyed with my best burger recipe

    Rudy, clear, no longer opaque, but good color to the rim.
    Nose: Zin, blackberry.
    On initial slurp, the palate was confusing - totally unlike the nose - dry cut acidic and tar. After a bit, everything settled down, gathered harmony. Some volatiles must have evaporated with some air.
