  November 28, 2020 - Elegant in its aged state. Tannins have softened, but still provide structure. Muted fruits allow spice notes like cinnamon and nutmeg to emerge. Just a lovely aged new world cab.

  May 3, 2019 - Nice 2 hour decant. Lively 2005 Spring Mountain Cab. Paired well with some big tomahawk steaks, artichokes and a killer cesar salad. Last bottle of the brood but still drinking well.

  February 25, 2018 - Aged beautifully with no loss of fruit. Drinks smoothly as tannins have really settled into the wine. A modest bouquet gives way to big flavor profile that paired beautifully with steak and roasted veggies. Wish I had more.

Part of the filler wines, and I only has a small amount but this was great. I have always loved the 2005 Napa Cabs and this is one that is in it's primary window
