  March 22, 2024 - For what it's worth, this is still drinking incredibly now (2 out of 3 bottles were good, the third one was corked). At this age you obviously don't expect too much fruit but the finish is still intensely long and wonderful - very similar to aged Bordeaux with the resolved tannins. I can't imagine it will change much (for the better) from this point, so definitely drink what you have.

  N: FRAGRANT melding of earth/cherries with undertones of spice & other unparsables; Intensity lurking
  
  P: LM body; LOVELY frt beautifully offset by acidity which SEAMLESSLY transitions into a LONG, BEAUTIFULLY tangy/swt finish. At its PEAK (?), but should hold another 5-6 yrs, I'm guessing. My EXC+/Exceptional-. 88 pts WS, Tasted: 15-May-2003.

  October 10, 2013 - Nice mature wine which is perhaps a bit on the decline but still very enjoyable with mature cab flavors and fully integrated tannins.
