  November 28, 2015 - Mini vertical - drank tonight along side a 2003 Shiraz - and seemed well past it's prime. Leathery with decent fruit, good acidity, was very dry almost cab like but a muted finish. Drank over 5 hours to make sure we didn't rush it.

  December 25, 2014 - hadn't lost a step. still bright fruit and plentiful nose. smooth and long finish and not a hint it had stayed around too long.

  April 3, 2011 - Good wine, but not specatular - maybe past it's prime? Cherry on the nose and the palate. Deep purple with pinkish overtones. Soft finish, mellow, no sediment in decanter (1-2 hours).

  January 31, 2011 - Dark and rich with some nice spice. Definitely Californian. I decanted and there was about 1/4 tsp of residual sugar in the decanter after we finished. It evolved wonderfully over 90 minutes, leading me to believe there's a few more years left in it.
