June 29, 2018 - Dinner with Steph at Longhorn - Prime rib: Cab franc pleasantly dominates this one on the nose and the flavors; fairly floral nose, black fruits up front, pleasant herbal cab franc is dominant from mid-palate through long, silky finish. Better food wine, than on its own.
On day two, very little nose, but flavors remained the same.
November 6, 2016 - Drinking nicely; mild tannins with good structure; dark red fruit with modest depth; pleasant finish
August 7, 2014 - Drank great on 8/7/14
February 19, 2013 - - Garnet color with medium forming legs. It's in total harmony with a medium/full body. Polished texture with a long finish - Appropriate bottle for Valentines Day. Rich, full mouthfeel. Fully integrated tannins made for a smooth experience with fruit still fresh. Wonderful!
February 17, 2013 - Displays the classic Seduction signature of jammy fruit, deft balance and finesse. The 2006 has always been a beautiful wine, but it is just beginning to peak. This wine explodes on the palate with notes of currant and dark jam, following through with sweet blackberry and blueberry notes. The finish is seamless, almost stately for a big, Napa cabernet-based wine, with very light toastiness that adds to the complexity. Everything is in balance here, suggesting a long life, but who could resist?
August 19, 2012 - Lush aroma, fruity and deep. Smooth well balanced wine.
February 14, 2012 - PnP. Nice dark color. Great wine
February 14, 2012 - Smooth on opening; soft tannins; dark red fruit with mild tartness; moderate finish.
December 31, 2011 - Very nice bottle again. Slightly sweet and light to medium body. Red fruits dominate the nose and palate. PNP at a restaurant in bad glasses and probably a little cool. Very enjoyable.
October 21, 2011 - Second night loose cork. Nose is a bit off, spoiled fruit. Rich heavy fruit river, some dusty coco tannins, well touched oak, acid balanced. Not bad stuff. The nose is a bit of a mystery for me.
