June 29, 2014 - PNP. cork ok. color gold. nose shows secondary aromas of butterscotch and caramel, and this is all that I taste on the palate. the acid is there but the freshness is not in this bottle. got it as a holiday gift so not sure of the provenance. not my bag baby
November 22, 2012 - Light in taste, some apple a little almond but not what I expected. Getting better after about an hour.
June 8, 2012 - after loving the 06, this one feel short of my expectations. The oak overpowered the fruit and my friend thought the acidity was too high as well. Perhaps those components would have come together better with more cellaring.
September 17, 2011 - Stereotypical chardonnay/white burgundy: rich, but with adequate acidity. Drank well almost immediately after opening, and then improved over the next 3 hours until it was gone.
December 26, 2010 - Still good! Nice and crisp, still fresh. High good (83.5).
July 16, 2010 - straw color. Light, grassy. Aroma of pears, lichi. Fairly typical, straightforward pouilly fuisse, nothing special, but acceptable for the price.
May 1, 2010 - Light golden tone with vibrant aromas of grapefruit, lemon and toasty almonds. Zesty citrus flavors intertwined with a firm backbone of minerality are supported by the structure of careful oak fermentation and aging.
April 24, 2010 - Consistently very good
April 4, 2010 - Conventional White Burg. Nothing special. Acid seemed slightly off balance but decent everyday Pouilly.
March 27, 2010 - Like most of the non-grand cru Jadots I've had, this is simple, to the point, and easy to drink, but doesn't really show much depth or personality. I don't know if it's worth the price of ~$20, but it is always a reliable go-to if you want to, say, buy a gift for someone without offending them and that they will enjoy if they like white wine pretty much at all.
