    September 26, 2021 - Still a beautiful, mature, complex and soft CDP from one of the best in the business but not as good as the previous 1-2 bottles - I think we are now a little past prime. Too expensive to be a good QPR wine. Needs air - opened in the bottle for 2-3 hours prior to consumption. Light purple with peripheral bricking, medium bodied, soft mouth feel, well integrated, elegant and complex with a moderately long aftertaste. Nose soft, complex and dark with dark fruit, herbs and smoke. Soft mouth feel, well integrated complex flavors of grilled meats, smoke, garrigue, cassis, dark plum and a lighter floral note. Highly recommend this wine, too expensive to be any kind of a good QPR for those whom that matters and need to start drinking up any remaining holdings.

    September 19, 2021 - Travelling OK but feels as though it has peaked. Fruit slightly fading but still showing some interesting autumnal and undergrowth flavours, sour black cherries and herbs. Wouldn’t hold this any longer.

    August 29, 2021 - Drank from 375 ml. Definitely on the decline. Decanted for over an hour. Muted and our bottle had a ridiculous amount of sediment — was hard to believe it was only a ‘99. Still enjoyed but it is past its prime.
